Nadine fell into the wine trade after studying modern languages at Sheffield University. Looking for a role where she could use her fluent French, her first job was at Thierry’s Wine Services where she progressed from Commercial Assistant to Account Manager, as well as taking her WSET Diploma in wine. After a brief stint managing the UK off trade for French co-operative Val d’Orbieu, she arrived at Guy Anderson Wines over 10 years ago. The main role involves managing and developing key UK off trade accounts and looking after our French supplier base but one advantage of working for a small family-owned company is that there is plenty of opportunity for taking on other responsibilities and she is also involved in recruitment and quality control.
