As described by the Wine Enthusiast, No.10 is “Deep ruby in the glass, this wine offers aromas of black plum, pomegranate, and black olive tapenade. Durable tannins and strong acidity play backup to black cherry, blackberry, dark chocolate, orange zest, and dried Mediterranean herb flavors that culminate in a lasting finish”.
Anciano No.5 Crianza Tempranillo received equally positive praise in August from the Wine Enthusiast with a score of 88 points and was labeled ‘Best Buy’. In the publication, No.5 has “A nose of cherry, black plum, and roasted fennel bulb sets the scene for blackberry, pomegranate, anisette, butterscotch, and milk-chocolate flavors, with a touch of eucalyptus and a parting note of orange zest”.
