We’re thrilled to share the news that Norrel’s incredible achievements creating and promoting top quality Spanish wines have been recognised with membership of this most exclusive of clubs. He is one of just three new Caballeros appointed in 2020.
The Gran Orden de Caballeros del Vino was established in 1985 by Wines from Spain to recognise and reward outstanding achievement in the education, advancement and business of quality wines from Spain in the United Kingdom.
Norrel Robertson MW is the founder of ‘El Escocés Volante’ and has been working as a consultant winemaker on a wide variety of projects with the GAW team for around 15 years. We’re all proud to be associated with him and offer his great wines to clients worldwide.
In response to this award, he said, “It is a great honour to be invited join such an illustrious group of professionals who have given so much to Spanish wine. I have had the privilege of bringing up a family and setting up business in Spain and hope that together we can keep on communicating all that is great about Spanish wine, culture and lifestyle.”
